The Hollins is a successful and highly thought of school that has recently been designated as a National Teaching School and will lead the East Lancashire Teaching Schools Alliance. We aim to bring out the best in every child. Our staff are proud to work here and our pupils are proud to be part of the school.

We aim to ensure that every child succeeds academically and socially and leaves The Hollins with the necessary skills to succeed in the future.

We continue to work hard and build on our strengths with the motto of "Strive to Succeed" at the forefront of everything we do.

The Hollins aims to provide each and every pupil with a broad and balanced curriculum appropriate to their needs. The delivery of this learning will take place within a calm and purposeful working environment. Our exceptional  care, guidance and support enables every child to flourish, achieve their potential and develop the necessary skills and abilities to play an active part in our global society. We place a strong emphasis on personal values and high quality relationships between adults and children that leave our pupils uniquely equipped for the future.
