ENGLISH

Year 10:
All pupils will complete a range of Controlled Assessments over the course of the 2 years; the first being in November 2011.

Year 11:
All pupils will work towards a final Controlled Assessment in January 2012. They should meet all deadlines as set by their English teacher.

  • Ensure regular attendance at school. Work completed in class is VERY, VERY important. Work Experience also depends upon regular attendance.
  • HOLIDAYS taken during term time will disadvantage your son/daughter. Work will need to be copied up and key lessons will be missed across the curriculum. Pupils find it very difficult to catch up.

  • Punctuality is VITAL. Important messages are given out in registration. Work Experience also depends upon punctual attendance.
