Welcome to the RE, PSHE and Citizenship Department
Holocaust Memorial Day
In preparation for Holocaust Memorial Day on 27th January, year 8 and 9 students from The Hollins, Rhyddings and Mount Carmel came together with local artist Kerris from the Bureau in Blackburn to create paper lanterns. These will be decorated with messages and images, focusing on the theme for this year ‘ How can life go on ?’. The lanterns will go on display in Accrington town centre on Holocaust Memorial Day.
